I’ll be heading down to Miami to meet up with a crew of guy friends in a little while. It’ll be my first trip to the Magic City, so I’m pretty excited about exploring its foods and restaurants. I’ve already gotten the message that the Cuban-American food I’ll find in Miami won’t be the same as the Cuban food I had in Havana years ago, but I’m curious if any Epi readers can clue me into the differences I should look out for. (Though I found the people of Havana were big fans of sandwiches, I couldn’t find a Cuban sandwich, as we know it, anywhere.) So where in Miami should my friends and I head for the best Cuban and non-Cuban food? And where should we go for the drinks to wash them down? We’re up for anything.
