If not, head on over to Cakecrumbs, where Australian blogger-baker-zoologist Rhiannon writes about how she came to create her jaw-dropping, spherical concentric layer cakes of Jupiter and Earth. These stunning space cakes are both composed of a few different types of cake, each representing one of the planets’ layers–core, mantle, crust, etc. Basically, cake is baked inside cake inside cake. Then there’s frosting and fondant, and a whole lot more involved, of course, so thankfully, Rhiannon has posted a tutorial on how to make these beauties–which are truly out of this world.
